Kunstvereniging Diepenheim will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Saturday 5 September. During the day everyone can visit the jubilee exhibition. A reception at Herberg de Pol and a book launch in the Kunstvereniging take place in the afternoon and there is a party with dinner, drinks and live music by the music band Wat Typisch in the evening.
This festive day is your last chance to view the jubilee exhibition. It’s free and open from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. This day is also your last chance to buy a unique work of art by one of the 164 artists participating in the exhibitions held over the last 25 years.
The reception in Cultuurcentrum Herberg de Pol starts at 2.30 p.m. You may have a drink here before the launch of the jubilee book. At 4 p.m. Hendrik Driessen, director and chief curator of the De Pont Museum, Tilburg will give a speech. Subsequently, the jubilee book, which gives an overview of 25 years Kunstvereniging Diepenheim, will be presented. The afternoon ends with a shared meal in Herberg de Pol, from 5.30 p.m. In the evening the jubilee ends with a large party in Herberg de Pol’s ‘reception hall’, featuring live music by the music band Wat Typisch.
The jubilee book is presented in the afternoon. The book looks back on the history of Kunstvereniging Diepenheim. Not only does the book contain 165 drawings, but also texts by art historians, curators, employees, volunteers and exhibitors. All works of the jubilee exhibition are to be found in facsimile in the book. During this festive day the book costs € 25,-; after 2 September it will be € 40,-.
